James Massey

Financial Planner

Founder and Director, James Massey established Grace Financial Services back in December 2013. But the journey began well before.


Trained and experienced as a mechanical engineer for General Motors and in Christian ministry, his formal financial qualifications began in 2001. James then began work as a para-planner and also completing his Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning from the Securities Institute in Melbourne.


After four years in financial planning/property development businesses in Victoria, Jim took the Senior Adviser role at a financial planning practice here in NSW. Being promoted soon after as their Manager of Financial Planning, looking after offices in Maitland, Lambton and Erina for seven years, servicing clients throughout the Hunter Valley, Newcastle and the Central Coast.


Following three years in management with a large mortgage company, James founded and began Grace Financial Services in Toronto, NSW, Lake Macquarie December 2013. He then added a mortgage broking arm February 2015.
